Top Tourist Destination of India.....

India is a destination, which differs from place to place. It has numerous attractions which attract the visitors. These include hills station, historical places and pilgrimage place. India is known for its diversity of religions, customs, festivals, sounds and sights. During your India trip, you will also find many endless naturally beautiful places such as Himalaya and a huge Gangetic plains.

Taj Mahal
After such a huge build up of expectations created by India tour packages, those who visit Taj Mahal almost subconsciously expect to be disappointed because nothing can really prepare them for the beauty of Taj Mahal. The symmetry of the building is almost perfect and the proportions are wonderful and if the building is termed as “Wonder of the World”, there is nothing wrong with it. There are mosques on both sides of the Taj, though only one of those is real. The other one has been created just to maintain symmetry of the building.
Golden Temple
The Golden Temple has been given the status of a living monument and the tourists are requested to allocate some extra time for it so that they can do justice to the magical beauty of the monument. The walls of the Golden Temple are encrusted with precious stones and the temple itself is gold plated. There is a walkway around the sacred lake and the Golden Temple itself is situated right in the center. Every visitor to the Golden Tempe is made to feel “genuinely welcomed”
The Khajuraho Temples
These temples, located near the village Khajuraho, were built in the period 950 AD and 1050 AD. In this period, there were total 85 temples built, though only 22 temples can still be seen. There are only one or two temples which are still in use for worshipping. The style and the size of temples vary from each other and are known for erotically created sculptures on the walls of the temples.
The Ghats of Varanasi
The flight of steps which lead you to a river are known as Ghats and the Ghats of Varanasi are amongst the most famous in India. The city itself is located on the banks of most sacred river of India, Ganga. Pilgrims from all over the world come to cremate their dead, take a holy dip, or meditate on the banks. Tourists from all over the world come here to take a boat trip during sunrise. Some tourists, however, do not like the sight of people cremating their dead while tourists look on.
Jaisalmer Fort
The Jaisalmer fort was built in 1156 by the then ruler, Jaisala. While about 25 percent of the city population still lives within the fort, cars are still not allowed inside the fort.
Qutab Minar
Qutab Minar is visible even from miles away as it is the highest structure in India. The ruins of India’s first mosque can still be seen around Qutab Minar. The construction of Qutab Minar was started by Qutubbudin Aibak and the work was continued by his successors. The Qutab Minar itself is created of Terracotta as well as sand stones.
